I don't make New Year's Resolutions. Because I break them by January 5 every year. So, rather than feel like a failure, I stopped making them. Until this year. Technically, I didn't make resolutions. I did, however, commit to make life changes.
One of the things I wanted for this year is to live a simpler and more organized life. I committed to doing one task each day to simplify my life. Most of the tasks are simple. For example, I cleaned the junk drawer out, and threw a ton of stuff away (good feeling.). Another day, I straightened up the laundry room shelf. I have been pretty consistent with my thinning.
In order to keep me in check, I am starting a series for 2013, called "Throw-Away Thursday.". Each Thursday, I will feature something that I am discarding. If I have to be accountable to someone, I am more likely to continue with this. Just wait...some of the things I have to toss are quite comical. (I tend to want to keep things, because what if I need it someday?)
Stay tuned...
Yours Truly,
Tara

My Maiden Voyage |
Well, here goes nothing. I have decided to try this blogging thing. I have a lot to say, really to no one in particular. Where do I start?
I am a 30-something mother of 2, wife of 1. Oh, and I cannot forget my two 4-legged kids. I work full-time outside of the home, but am hoping to change that within the next couple of years. I love baseball (come on spring training). I love a bargain, and get very excited when I see a Goodwill, especially if I am in another city. Recently, I joined a fabulous company called Origami Owl. Never heard of it? Check out my website http://TaraL.origamiowl.com.
So, that is the basics about me. I am eager to meet people, and look forward to getting feedback. Thanks for reading about me and my life. Chat with you soon!
Yours truly,
Tara
